So cheesy right?- very cheesy. I like things that make my life easy and mostly anything to help with my OCD. I am a fusspot just like my maternal granny I don’t mind using my hands for lots of things but picking up grated cheese has always been one of those… where I kinda wished there was a plan. Well, guess what? A very smart South African woman inventor came up with this great idea to make a cheese tong, super cool right? yeap very! I could not wait to get my hands on it. So I bought myself one to try and I am loving my Easy Cheesy experience.
Firstly the name just jumped at me Easy Cheesy, it comes only in one color which is red and made from Polycarbonate (FDA food grade, temperature resistance, and impact resistance) and is dishwasher safe. The Easy Cheesy tong is big enough to conveniently pick up grated cheese and small enough to be a stylish functional utensil at any tea party or dinner table.I have been using it for all sorts of recipes since I discovered it, it’s also been one of those great go-to gift ideas [yeah, I love giving]
Last week I made stuffed green peppers topped with grated cheese and off I use my Easy Cheesy as always.
- 500g of mince beef
- 1 cup of cooked rice
- 4 green peppers large
- 1/2 onion, fine chopped
- 1 large egg
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- fresh parsley
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Mixed all the ingredients and topped it with the grated cheese and baked for 45min with cherry tomatoes and Va-da! dinner is served
